Post-Doc Researcher

Ghina ElHaffar is postdoctoral researcher at McGill Center for the Convergence of Health and Economics, she holds a PhD in marketing and sustainable consumer behavior from the École des Sciences de la Gestion à l’Université du Québec à Montréal. 

Her research focuses on applying behavioural interventions to facilitate and encourage the adoption of healthier and more sustainable consumption choices, specifically by tapping into the behavioural biases that govern people’s decisions such as intention-action gaps, procrastination, and behavioural frictions.

Through her many collaborations, Ghina empowers organizations and governments to design better customer experiences, and individuals to make more sustainable choices.

Ghina is a published author and has been active in disseminating knowledge on the psychology of sustainable living through her Ecofriendly Choices initiative.
