• What motivated you to join this partnership?

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia believes in the possibilities and opportunities that applied behavioural science can have in improving the financial wellbeing of our customers. BEAR/BI-Org has an impressive reputation of conducting leading edge academic research and we’re honoured to join this partnership to keep discovering how behavioural insights can help our customers and communities.

• What aspect of the research agenda are you most excited about?

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia is looking forward to sharing, co-creating, collaborating with the BI-Org’s leading researchers and with the other partner organisations across government, industry, and academia. We’re particularly excited about research within the financial services and banking space.

• How do you plan to use the results from the research coming out of the partnership?

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia is looking forward to evaluating the research results and considering how to implement the partnership’s behavioural insights and frameworks to help improve the financial wellbeing of our customers and communities.
